2022 Proprietary White Wine  $27

California

 52% Sauvignon Blanc, 35% Semillon,13% Chenin Blanc

Pale lemon in color with crystal clarity. A rush of ripe citrus, lemon, tropical notes and verbena on the nose. Ruby red grapefruit, green apple, white pepper with a hint of tangerine, a slight minerality and a touch of lemon pith.  Acidity flows across the palate and integrates well with the fresh flavors.  A long, pleasant finish that makes you want more.

2021  Chenin Blanc  $27

Clarksburg

88% Chenin Blanc, 12% Sauvignon Blanc

Pale lemon in color with brilliant clarity. Perfumed nose-white flowers with a chalky/dusty aroma and a hint of minerality that is more often found in old world wines like the Chenin Blancs found in France’s Loire Valley.  Ripe Asian pear, yellow and green apple, a hint of brioche mouth-watering acidity. Well-balanced with sufficient body and weight, with a medium finish. Pair with baked scallops topped with Panko, parmesan, lemon and fresh herbs.

2022 Sauvignon Blanc  $27

Capay Valley

100% Sauvignon Blanc

Light gold in color with crystal clarity. White peach, Bosc Pear, Meyer lemon, underripe pineapple exhibiting silky medium to medium plus acidity on the palate and a slightly spicey finish.  The wine’s richness begs for cuisine to match its weight…possibly a gruyere cheese and fresh herb risotto.

2021 Sauvignon Blanc California Fumé  $31

California

100% Sauvignon Blanc

Light gold in color with good clarity with hints of green reflections. Smoke and cedar integrate with aromas of ripe citrus, tangerine, Bradford pear, red apple, a hint of tropical fruit.  This wine is enhanced by the French Oak aromas and flavors.  A medium plus to long finish and well integrated fruit aromas equal a wine perfect for food pairings, but generous enough for quaffing.

2022 Rosé of Pinot Noir  $26

Santa Lucia Highlands

100% Pinot Noir Rosé

The best of two worlds!  The grapes for this wine come from two adjacent vineyard blocks in the Santa Lucia Highlands of Monterey County, California where the cool breezes off the Pacific Ocean make for prime Pinot Noir growing conditions.  One vineyard is harvested early in the season, the other later, when rich red fruit flavors are present to complement the higher acidity of the first harvest.  Red fruits of raspberry and strawberry interacting with a crispy mid-palette.  While Pinot Noir has French origins, we made this wine in an Italian Rosato style.

 2020 Zinfandel  $32

Sierra Foothills

100% Zinfandel

A classic California zinfandel coming from the heart of Gold Country in Fair Play.   Very typical of this organically grown vineyard.  Fresh fruit flavors play on your tongue with spicy notes of clove and vanilla beans, as is typical of oak maturation and a low tannin style.  Notes of black pepper spice lead you into a medium to long finish that lingers on the palate .

Placer County, from Dusty’s Vineyard.

Aromas of black fruit and subtle earthiness, with a hint of vanilla.  Sweet blackberry flavors in the mouth, with lingering black licorice finish.
